Marvel superhero Thor debuted in 1962, primarily the work of artist Jack Kirby, editor Stan Lee, and scripter (and Lee’s brother) Larry Lieber. While the original costume that they designed (blue armor, red cape, and silver winged helmet) is considered a classic at this point, it’s certainly not the only one Thor has worn over the past 55 years. In this infographic, we show how Thor’s appearance has evolved through many comic trends, while often calling back to archetypal features like his cape or winged helmet. We’ll also take a look at some other characters who were worthy of wielding Mjolnir, whether they were called by the name “Thor” (like Jane Foster) or simply gained his powers (Beta Ray Bill and Throg). This year, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hit theaters and did not disappoint. The follow up to the surprise summer hit of 2014 was an action-packed visual spectacle with even more of the fun character dynamics that were introduced in the first one. Every character had their chance to shine with some hilarious dialogue exchanges. Whether it was Rocket calling Star Lord “Star Munch”, Drax’s poor attempts at sympathy, or Baby Groot being...well...Baby Groot, the movie provided plenty of great quotes.

It's about to get a little crowded in Hell's Kitchen. The time has arrived for Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist to assemble as The Defenders premieres on Netflix this month. The show will follow the storyline from the end of Daredevil season 2, in which all of the characters finally cross paths to take down The Hand, an ancient organization that is (as you may have guessed) up to no good. If you've watched any of Marvel's shows on Netflix, you know that the personalities of these characters are not of those who work well in teams. Therefore, The Defenders is bound to offer some fun and intriguing character dynamics. In fact, we've already seen some of it in the trailer!...
The 25th anniversary of A League of their Own is coming up and we wanted to do something to celebrate. It’s a funny and positive story, after all, plus we’re suckers for a good sports movie. So we got this idea to combine A League of Their Own with the DC Comics team Justice League, because we’re also a fan of mashups and puns. (But don’t you dare call them mashupuns, because that’s going too far.) Anyway, if you combine those two you get A Justice League of Their Own, which is pretty obvious if you’ve already read the title of this series of original poster art. This time, though, it won’t be the Justice League versus the Legion of Doom like in that episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Instead, they’ll be facing off against the Parademons and their ringer, Steppenwolf. Of course, the Justice League of Their Own has to win, because there’s no crying in baseball.
