The Man of Steel and the Dark Knight already duked it out earlier this year in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman. In August, Suicide Squad aims to up the ante by forcing a whole bunch of supervillains to work together on a team and sending them on black ops missions for the government. (What could possibly go awry with that plan?) All that superhero movie action got the old brain-juices flowing about films based on the DC comic book universe. It seems like there have been a million Batman movies since Adam West first donned the costume and Superman sure hasn't been shy about showing up on the silver screen. Do you remember that time that Shaq was a superhero? How many movies has DC done anyways? Well, ponder no further! This handy infographic lists every theatrically release full-length film that DC has ever made.

Harry Potter Wands [Infographic]

Harry Potter Wands

J.K. Rowling wasn’t the first author to write about witches and wizards and their magic wands. But her attention to detail in describing each wand individually helped to make the “wizarding world” come alive for readers like us. (And, we’re assuming, you!) In the Harry Potter fictional universe, every wand is somewhat sentient and therefore unique. This is because wandmakers craft the wands using different woods, with different lengths, and with different materials in their core. To celebrate Harry’s upcoming birthday (his 36th!) and the release of the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child script book, we bring you this infographic on the most important wands in the Harry Potter franchise!

Perfect Organism: The Alien from 1979-1997 [Infographic]

The Alien Evolution Infographic

Watching the movies in the Alien franchise, it’s easy to forget that the titular monster is actually a man in a suit. The slick, onyx-colored skin of the Xenomorph, the spindly, whip-like limbs, the dome-shaped head—these features seem so inhuman that it’s hard to imagine the creature being anything but another species from an unknown planet. However, this creature was man-made, dreamt up in industrial nightmare by artist H.R. Giger. Over the course of the main four films in the series, Giger and fellow designers tweaked and modified the Xenomorph, evolving the creature little-by-little. This infographic shows you the changes made in each film, from its original appearance in 1979 through Alien: Resurrection in 1997.

Video Game Movies: Super Box Office Bros

Video games have been telling stories since the days of Pong. Sure, a friendly game of table tennis on a Sunday afternoon may not be the next Citizen Kane, but the game still strives to show us an epic competition between two paddles! Other games take us on epic odysseys to a faraway land filled with princesses, dinosaurs, and tiny mushroom people, a la Super Mario Bros., and others, like the stories in Resident Evil, show us our own world, but with more zombies. With the treasure trove of tales to tell, it's not surprising that many games have taken the step into the silver screen. Some entered the movie scene like champs, while others crashed and burned in a glorious blaze of blue Hadouken flames. Since Blizzard has decided to take a stab at it with Warcraft, coming out on June 10th, we got inspired to put together this list of all the internationally released movies based on video games, which shows you which video game movies brought in the most coins and which ones tanked at the box office.

8 Tim Burton Adult Coloring Book Pages

Tim Burton has a directing style that is instantly recognizable. Dark colors, quirky details, and gothic imagery are all motifs found in Burton's movies, and they're all a big part of why so many people are big fans. That's why we thought creating some free adult coloring book pages based on scenes from his films would be such a perfect idea! Yes, most of the scenes are creepy and dreary, but there are definitely plenty of colorful moments in the movies, like the bright green of the trees in Nightmare Before Christmas, the teal and turquoise hues of Cheshire Cat in his version of Alice in Wonderland, and the glowing red flames of the pet store in Pee-wee's Big Adventure. But, even so, better sharpen up those gray crayons, because with characters like Jack Skellington, Beetlejuice, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, and the entire cast of Ed Wood, you'll need 'em!

what we know about first order stormtroopers

When Star Wars: The Force Awakens was first announced and images of a black Stormtrooper hit the internet, there was some grumbling about how the Empire would never allow for that. “All Stormtroopers are clones of Jango Fett!” they said. “The Empire was racist, they would not allow diversity in the Academy!” they said. Many of these early complaints were based on the misnomer that all Stormtroopers since The Clone Wars were actual clones. The truth is that the clone army was phased out after the era of Revenge of the Sith.
