Welcome to HalloweenCostumes.com! Today, we are going to show you a Weird Barbie makeup tutorial.

Start by applying foundation to your face and neck to even out your skin tone. Set with powder to ensure your look lasts all night. Contour the cheekbones with a cool-toned contour powder. Add a peachy, pink blush to the apples of the cheeks. Place a highlighter on the highest points of the cheekbones, nose, and forehead.

Brush on an eyeshadow base from the lid to the crease. This will ensure your shadow will pop and not crease! Add a smoky grey all over the lid and blend. Lightly fill your brows with light, hair-like strokes with a brow pencil in a shade close to your natural brow color. Add a winged liner using a black liquid eyeliner. Smudge black eyeshadow under the lash line to give a smoky eyeliner look. Pick your favorite Barbie pink to wear on your lips.

Using a black eyeliner, draw a messy circle around your right eye. With a green liner, draw three stitches on the right cheekbone. If you don't have a green liner, you can just use face paint too. Draw on the pink and blue zig zag scribbles on the forehead. I used a light pink lip liner, and a blue eyeliner. But again, face paints would work, too!

Tie the hair back and put on a wig cap. Today, we're using the Jareth wig from Labyrinth. Spray the bangs in layers, and make it look a little messy and piece-y. I took a teasing comb and teased a few parts that kept falling due to the weight of the hair. To do this, hold the hair in the direction you want it to lay and brush downward from about an inch or two above the root.

If you don't want to cut your wig, just tie back the long pieces and twist and hide in the back with a few bobby pins. If you don't mind cutting your wig, just line up the longest part of the hair with the next-longest layer and cut straight across. No need for it to be perfect—the messier, the better! I even cut some chunks out of the final cut just to make it blend a little more. Do a final spray of hairspray, and you're ready for a girls' night in your Weird Barbie house!

So you have your Weird Barbie makeup and hair ideas sorted out, but what do you actually need to complete your look? If you don't have a Weird Barbie costume, you can pick up a short pink dress with a fluffy skirt. This Jareth wig from Jim Henson's Labyrinth is also incredibly handy as the foundation for your Weird Barbie wig. (It even has the blue streaks in it for you!) Add pink streaks with pink hair chalk in the wig, and you're almost there. Along with your regular beauty makeup, you need black, pink, blue, and green-colored makeup for the scribbles on your face. Now, you're ready to send Barbie on her way into the real world!

We hope you're ready to drop some hilarious nuggets of wisdom as Weird Barbie! Who was your favorite Barbie movie character? Is there a particular Barbie doll you would have loved to see as a live-action character? We'd love to hear your best Barbie ideas in the comments. Now get out there, have fun, and be weird!
